I work at Bitget since April 2023 as a video editor and motion graphic designer
and a few months later I started producing short spots and promos that I shot in Taipei. During my time in the company, I have edited and animated hundreds of videos collaborating with graphic designers, copywriters, stakeholders and marketing managers, and coordinated by a senior producer. Another of my duties was to rebrand and localize videos in 18 different languages as needed. Most of the videos I produced aimed for the Youtube channel, X and sometimes for launching new products in the website. I also shot different projects in Taiwan and Singapore, like Bitget EmpowerX Summit, and the 5th Anniversary yacht parties with KOLs. Thus, I shot and edited a series of videos about the Pizza Day aimed for social activation in Bitget’s TikTok channel and Instagram Reels.
My latest works include Bitget’s birthday video with Lionel Messi, and the announcement video for the partnership of Bitget with LALIGA (Spain’s national football league, one of the most influential sport competitions in Europe).

I dove fully into crypto with Cointelegraph
I was hired for managing the social media channels of Cointelegraph with a wonderful team of creatives, but it didn’t take long to realize that we were not taking advantage of short-form video in the social media. I drafted a proposal for creating video content for our Twitter (it was still Twitter by then), Instagram, TikTok and Facebook channels by attending crypto conferences in Europe. The aim was to interview KOLs and personalities as well as crypto enthusiasts in a very distended and cool way, almost comical, and then condense the video into engaging pieces of less than 90 seconds of duration. We named the project “Cointelegraph Originals” and we tested it in Surfin’ Bitcoin and NFT Biarritz, both conferences happening back to back in the south of France… and it worked like a charm. After that, I produced this kind of content at the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona and at the WebSummit in Lisbon (and later on in Singapore and Taipei for Bitget).

In 2017 I designed a campaign against racism
It was the end of August, and the terrorist attacks of Barcelona (Spain) had just happened a few days before. Then I saw in the news that some neonazi attacked a 14-year old boy just because he was a muslim. I was just testing Videoscribe by then, and made a video against white supremacy. I put in on Facebook, and next day it had 750 views. A few hours later it had 5000 views, then 15,000… and it made it to 2 million in three or four days. I decided to make a few more videos and created the series Depuralogica, and soon after my FB page filled up with ultra-right wing people threats. Eventually, I made a video against the Spanish monarchy, it went down to 200K views. And the next video was down to 20K, and then 5K, and I was kicked out of YouTube. So, eventually, I just closed the page.

We were coming out from the COVID pandemic, and the world was still upside down. So producing a project consisting on fleshing out in video what humanitarian volunteers had been doing during months (sometimes years) around the planet acquired a more meaningful purpose. The whole project was a set of 25 capsules and a long-form video aimed for social media channels and website.
